Family Program News: Jacob Stein and The Bakery Band Puppets Make their Summer Sundays at the Center Debut

Last Sunday, families escaped the city heat and gathered in the Center’s Great Hall for the second Summer Sundays at the Center program, which featured a music-filled performance by Jacob Stein and The Bakery Band Puppets. Jacob’s comical cast of characters—that ranged from a stubborn rooster to a dancing goat—had the whole crowd dancing and singing along to a wonderful show about the wise folk of Chelm, Poland, complete with new material as well as beloved tales and traditional songs. It was a delight to see generations of family members come together for the event, and we are looking forward to more fun at Jacob’s next performance at the Center on August 12th!
