Vintage Theater on a
Modern Stage: The Golden Bride
Wednesday,
May 4 at 6:30 pm at Museum of the City of New York
The Golden Bride, a 1923 Yiddish musical comedy, returned to the stage this past winter for
the first time in almost 70 years. The New York Times called the
National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene’s hit revival “deeply satisfying…a
revelation.” In advance of the Bride’s return to the stage at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in July, join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes
talk with the show’s creative team, and enjoy selected songs performed by Rachel
Policar and other members of the cast.
