We are using the method described by the conservators at NARA during their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.conservators-converse.org\/2015\/05\/43rd-annual-meeting-book-paper-session-may-15-heat-set-tissue-finding-a-practical-solution-of-adhesives-by-lauren-varga-and-jennifer-k-herrmann\/\" target=\"_blank\">Book and Paper Group presentation<\/a> at the AIC Annual Meeting. We are making a variety of tissues including lots of very thin tissues for mending the many brittle serials, including <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.nyu.edu\/library\/sp.collections\/2014\/10\/the_devil_in_the_archives.html\" target=\"_blank\">Lucifer: The Light Bearer,<\/a> we have in NYU\u2019s collections.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Our colleagues from the preservation laboratory <a title=\"http:\/\/cjh.org\/p\/140\" href=\"http:\/\/t.co\/A2ld8MQok3\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/cjh.org\/p\/140 <\/a> attended this mini-workshop earlier today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>nyupreservation: HEAT-SET Tissue Making.
