The group\u2019s first album, <em>Outside Voices<\/em>, received a <strong>National Association of Parenting Publications Award (NAPPA) for Best Music<\/strong>, was nominated for a <strong>GRAMMY Award<\/strong>, and is on the <strong>Top Ten of 2010<\/strong> lists of the <strong><em>Washington Post<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>TimeOut New York Kids<\/em><\/strong>, the <strong>Kids and Family Awards, Out with the Kids<\/strong> and <strong>Zooglobble<\/strong>. The Pop Ups also won a <strong>Parents\u2019 Choice Award<\/strong> for their contribution to the Craig Taubman curated album, <em>Celebrate Jewish Lullabies<\/em>. They have toured with <strong>Yo Gabba Gabba Live<\/strong> and performed at venues nationwide, including the Kennedy Center and the Beacon Theatre.<\/p>\n<p>As a puppeteer, Jacob has created and performed a series of shows celebrating Jewish holidays. His Hanukah puppet musical, <em>The Hammer &amp; The Candle<\/em>, premiered at Stephen Wise Synagogue in 2007.
